Well, there is some Good to this statement for sure. But in reality for me, it depends on what type of need it is, and whether they are willing to do some things on their own without wanting to use you as well. Because in a lot of things we do need help and advice, but at the same time if we are just always needing and never want to accept the help, and do things on our own that will often make others not want to be our friends anymore as well.

Its true that when we need some body a true friend is always there with us and so do our family. A person who seems to be our friend but runs away when time comes to show and prove your friendship. These are false friends or selfish friends not to be said friends as well. But true friends are very rear like diamonds and once found then you will feel the difference and you will say your luck to be with you.

I do believe it to some extent but then also there is that friend that needs so much and forgets to tend to your needs. So in a way a friend who needs a lot and is mission to be a friend with isn't really friendly is he/her. But I do fully agree that a friend in need is a friend indeed, You can't have a relationship that revolves around nothing.

Um, some of the time! I do not hesitate to go to my friends aid and the same can be said of them. I always say a proper friend is the one you would call at 3 in the morning if your car broke down!! However, I have one friend at teh moment who all she does is whinge on and on and not bother with what is going on in your life, to the point all of her friends are starting to get annoyed, mainly because she is riding roughshod over our feelings. For example, most messages are about how awful her pregnancy is, when all three of us are trying and two are on IVF! So sometimes a friend in need is a pain in the bum!! I wouldn't see her without though!
