Screensaver not working :( what to do?

My screen saver stopped working. My laptop is over a year old only and this is the first time. How do I fix this? I'm using vista and my windows is updated. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

if you have installed the screen saver then first check the file using anti virus.
if not installed then go to my computer properties screen saver and put none .
apply OK .
restart . now you don't have a screen saver.
choose any one and press ok.
done.
