There are many popular brands out there like Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Sketcher, Reebock, Asics, Vans, Converse ect.
I like Adidas, they run a lil wider and I usually only wear running shoes. Typically Nikes run a lil narrow & since having kids they don't fit at all.
The kids usually wear the inexpensive character velcro shoes. But I think the way they are playing that I may end up spending more money to get a better shoe for my oldest. Within the first couple of weeks her shoes look to be in the same condition as the ones that had been worn all school year.
Wich do you think wear the best? Fit the best? More durable for kids?

Hi Snugglebunnies
I prefer New Balance myself to me they are the most comfortable shoe and they are so much better for your feet my foot doctor recommended them to me but I have been wearing long before then but the type he wants me to order are expensive and I have to get shoes for my arches and special insoles because I have tendinitis
Reebock is kind of narrow but I do like Nike

Hmm... you know until I was a an adult I always thought NB's were a store brand! They do cost a lil bit of money like other brands, though I have never worn a pair.

I hare ya that's always something to take into consideration is how big your feet are going to look. Lucky me I have big feet so I'm always thinking about if they look odd. but sometimes I don't care as long as they are comfy & the price is right.

I've never been one to spend a lot of money on shoes. I personally love shoes, all kinds, and would love to own more than I do, but I rarely buy brand new shoes. Whenever I go to the Salvation Army my first stop is the shoe section, I just look and see what they have. I bought my youngest a pair of Nike for $3, and he's still wearing them, they're like 1 size too big still so he'll have them for awhile. I bought my oldest a pair of Reebok for $5 awhile ago and he still wears them as play shoes. Then I bought him some Starter sneakers from Walmart and they're holding up fairly well, especially for him, he wears his shoes out like crazy!!
I'll probably never buy name brand at full price, or even sale price, only used. For brand new shoes we go to Walmart or K-Mart, and I get what I can afford.
Even if they don't wear them out as fast, they're still going to grow out of them, so I just can't justify spending that much money on shoes or clothes!

Hi snugglebunnies, I never buy anything branded as the shoe is no better than one without a brand name and you're just paying three times the price for the logo, the whole thing is a complete rip off. Luckily that whole brand have to have as everyone else has it hasn't caught on yet,
