How does everyone feel about kids singing praise to Obama?

Sounds like some people view him as a diety to me, but hey I open to hear everyone's opinion.

I think it is creating a DANGEROUS culture of worship towards a political figure. It is the exact mentality that allowed Hitler to become so power full. If we continue doing this, we WILL inevitably get our own hitler someday. The Office of president, though one to be respected, is still an office of SERVITUDE to the American people.

I agree : think Obama should step up and tell people to knock off the worship like praise. It does not help his image. It is the mentality that Hitler encouraged. I don't understand why normally intelligent people are falling for this.

I say it reminds me of some communist country like the children of North Korea singing about their dear leader Kim Jong Ill.

Me too Pisa. It is scarily like the photos, clips you see of children singing praises to Hitler, Kim Jong Ill, Chavez and other socialist / communist countries. I would love to believe it is just children singing children songs about the president, but even the words and tunes smack of something much more sinister.
