Hello. One thing I know what B.T.U. stands for is "British Thermal Unit". That is a heat unit. That is what we were taught when taking courses on Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. Very interesting subjects. We were always so amazed to see how the formulas work. Are there any other things it stands for ? Do you know any other ?

no, i just was asking about the correct meaning.
yesterday i started my first lectures of thermodynamics. it is a wonderful subject. anyway here in italy we use the european units, so that we have to convert them into anglo saxon ones to understand eveerything from everyone.
