What did you think of this movie?

I recently watched the movie Requiem for a Dream because everyone was always talking about how great of a movie it is. I didn't like it at all! Maybe it has to do with the fact that I watched it so many years after it first came out, but I didn't think it was so great. What did you think of this movie??

It is great movie.
It was pretty entertaining and I liked the overall atmosphere and visuals.
I don't think it's so old that watching it now would be any different then when it came out. I think you've heard many people praising it so you expected a masterpiece and end up disappointed.
