Trip to California

I am planning a trip to Los Angeles this Spring and was wondering if I could get some ideas on things I should see in the city and in surrounding areas. My boyfriend is going to see a hockey game, but we want to do other things as well but are not familiar with the area. Any ideas?

I have been to California three times in my life so far. I liked staying at Santa Monica. I enjoyed visiting Venice Beach. I liked going to the Universal Studios and Disneyland. I liked seeing Beverley Hills and Hollywood. I hope that you will have an excellent time. Happy traveling.

Thanks! We are planning to visit Universal Studios too and I also heard that Santa Monica was a very nice place.
