I am almost completely devoid of any knowledge of pop/rock music after 1985. However, I have just stumbled across these chaps and chapesses. From the country that brought you the Bonzo Doo Dah Band I now introduce to you: The Ukulele Band of Great Britain. Who needs a Beatles revival when we have this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfK-UzQ48JE

Thanks so much for posting that! I have the copy of these guys doing the 'Good the Bad and the Ugly' song, and I've added this one as well. This group is a great mix of musical abilities and humor, and they are a delight to watch. Well, not as much fun as watching you...but close.

Have you watched me? I thought that I was well hidden under the wig and the chiffon!

No, not hidden enough. Even if my eyes don't see you, I know by my racing heart that you are there. Then it's a simple matter to watch more closely and BINGO! There you are!

This had me smiling the whole time. Funny stuff. I wonder, too, how this group managed to slip through the 80's without our noticing.*L*

Ukes are actually more versatile than most people think. I saw a clips of a young man playing some Beatles songs on a uke once and he was very, very good! I love seeing things like this, thank you!

I love them. I only just found about them today and have been splitting my sides over them since. They even played in the Cathedral where I work last year and I didn't know about them! Aaaaagh.

I have NO IDEA how this little diddy got past the U.K. Top 10...I suppose most people just don't know good music when they hear it!! Actually to tell you the truth the Ukulele's are quite good...of course the lyrics to the song...well I think the original writers are just jealous that someone came up with better lyrics and tried to get it hidden so as not to be out done!
