what does a friend mean to you?

yeah,I think so.And for me,a friend is someone who trusts and cares you.They are not perfect,they may argue with you sometimes,but they would never let you do anything bad to you.They are willing to share with you,listen to you,and you want to do the same thing to them.You don't do everything together,cause you have your own life,but you can always find each other whenever you need.

Yeah but be careful people aren't perfect. Your friend can't be everything to you. It would be great to have the kind of friend that you describe. If people really do have friends like this, they are indeed lucky. Forest Gump said in the movie "Forest Gump", "you can't find a good friend around the corner" something like that.

Friend for me is important like my personal things, like myself. If I have friend I treated them especial and i love them as I have love myself. I cannot live without friends around me. They are the treasures in my life. Have a nice day!

well, sometimes friends are not as ideal as you though. I often discuss/argue with my friends, and there are times that we have different opinions. I think friends is someone who you can discuss any question with, no matter what. and you remain friends even when you hold different opinions. Eveybody wants to get support from others, that's why they need friends, but sometimes, friends can be a burdern. Sometimes they borrow money from you but never mention about this again, seems that they forget borrowing money from you and haven't return yet... so I said, sometimes friends can be burden.
