Hello fellow Filipinos! How are you after the typhoon Ondoy? Are you part of the worst-affected areas? Luckily, I was not that affected with the typhoon. I was in QC the whole weekends when the disaster happened. But I sympathize with those affected, especially those who lost love ones and real properties because of the typhoon. I hope they will be fine soon...Let's pray for them.

Where are you located? Are you with your other relatives or back to your house already?

I am one of those lucky ones who had not experience any damage (just a little flood in the first floor of the house which already subsided last Saturday). I am not busy giving donation (just as much as I can cause I am not rich :( ) and asking other people for their donation. Help is still needed in many parts of Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon and I hope more help would come.

You are right. I also hope that help would really be given to those who are in need. And I also do hope that other people would not take advantage of the situation. It just makes me sad to know that other people are stealing from abandoned houses (really sad). It is like being robbed twice. And another thing is the distribution of relief goods. Some people get two packs while others have not received yet. I hope more help would come especially another typhoon is here, "Parma" or locally called "Peping". And I do pray that it would continue to change its direction and not make a land fall here in Luzon.

Yes, exactly! Thank God there are people like you who are helping as much as they can...I am also helping in the best way I can...Though, I cannot personally in there to help because I have a very busy schedule... Actually, help from all over the world is overwhelming...I really hope all the donations given by other countries via our government will really go to the intended beneficiaries.Lets help in our own little ways. Thanks!

we were stuck in the office during the whole typhoon.. im lucky to still have our house safe.. we live around manila, we're used to floods..so placing the furnitures on higher ground is kind of a breeze..also with the cleaning.. sad thing is, we have a house over at marikina.. now its covered in mud..and the whole place is a wreck..
