I like chewing gum when I'm traveling, especially when I'm on plane and it makes my breath fresh. And I had read an article that chewing gum has lots of healthy benefits like it can improve memory, the act of chewing or moving our jaw improves memory. The activity in the area of our brain that is important for the memory increases while people chew. Aside from that chewing gum reduces the symptoms of stress, help to manage weight, improves digestion and many more.

I had no idea that there were benefits to brain power by chewing gum. I do love gum and use it to control my terrible smoking habit. I also use it to manage my weight. I personally like orbit whitening gum because it may help my teeth be pearly white.

Yeah you're right chewing gum can assist you to stop and minimize your smoking habit. Chewing gum is also good in losing weight, they said that 5-10 stick of sugarless gum can help fight off calorie cravings, burn calories and raise your metabolic rate. When it comes to brain power it improves and stimulate in the brain in the areas of concentration, memories and focus. By increasing your heart rate and blood pressure it will carry extra oxygen to the brain and stimulate the right and left hemispheres to work together. Improve the ability and retrieve information. It's been measured by an EEG that chewing gum stimulates the brain in the areas that are responsible for memory thus making it easier for to retrieve and recall information and retain it. This was taken from article that I read, hope this will help you. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and have a great day!

I would also like to chew gum Chewing gum can exercise facial muscles, the muscles flexible enough, facial skin will look more shiny. Chewing gum can make gums more stable, as they say, the late teeth, which are seldom occur. Chewing gum can make fresh breath, this should be a lot of people's general awareness of chewing gum.

The popular perception is that chewing is bad for the teeth. However, many dentist believe that chewing a sugarless gum after meals actually has health benefits. The benefits arise from the fact that tooth decay occurs when essential minerals are dissolve from the tooth enamel by acids produced by the bacteria in plaque. Teeth are at their most vulnerable directly after meals and snacks, when plaque acid levels arise dramatically. Normally it can take up two hours for these acids to be either flushed away or neutralized, during which time the teeth are under attack. This is why people are extolled to eat something crispy like an apple immediately after meals. However chewing gum removes this acids within minutes, thus slowing down the process of tooth decay. One reason for this is that chewing gum can stimulate saliva production up to ten-fold, thus flushing our oral bacteria. This was taken from BBC.COM.UK I hope this could give you some information regarding this matter. Thank you and have a great day!
