What is your most treasured or fondest childhood memory?

What is the most treasured, fondest, fun or best memory your have of your childhood. For some of us there are probably many but if you had to pick oe what would it be? I am really trying hard to pin-point one and hearing others may help.

It is really difficult to choose just one memory from my childhood and say that it was my fondest memory. There are so many great memories that I have from my childhood. However, if I had to choose just one, it would be my first season on a swim team when I was nine years old. We were all just a bunch of little kids, but we all swam pretty well. When it came the end of the season, it wasn't completely expected that our team would be the city champions, but against all odds we swam our butts off and won the city championship. Beyond that, I made friends that year on the swim team that are still my friends to this day.

I know it is really dificult to pick one and we are very fortunate that we have so many good and fond memories. Sound like a very good and triumpiant one to me. I am still trying to pick just one...lol.
