Last Saturday, a typhoon struck our country. thinking that it would be just a normal tropical storm just like the rest, we carried on with our daily activities. However unfortunately the rain kept puring and puring and unexpectedly flood came and a lot of people i mean all of the people became a victim, all their houses, cars and properties drowned, including ours. I was not able to come home for two days due to the roads were not passable and mud reached to knee length including inside our house, so imagina how devastated our house was. It was quite a shock for me cause it happened for the first time in our lives and now it's already thursday and we still haven't got things back to normal in our place. Whew, what a disaster. God please help us all :(

hello resssa, thank God you are alright there. lucky enough that you have another home to transfer to since there's going to be a lot of renovation in your house. well, there's always the first time. the last time we had flood here was when the Mt. Pinatubo explode back in the 1990's. so, i know what it feels like to have a flood in your house.

I bet it's awful having to walk in knee deep mud.. I can't imagine what it must be like to have it in your house as well! How are you and your family making out in the meantime? The best thing I know to do is pray about it. Please know that I'm going to keep praying for youall. Kathy.

Hi there my friend. I am so sorry to hear about the typhoon that hit your home country. By the sounds of it much damage has been done. It is so sad for all the people like you and the other people that live there. It must be upsetting to have your house and car drown. It must be difficult to get around. Good luck.

Thank you, this was really the first time it had ever happened to think of the fact that our house is already elevated still water reached up to the chest inside our house. That's what my parents told me since I was not at home by then I had to stay at my friend's house for 2 days,

I am sorry to hear that the typhoon happened to your contry and so lucky that you are back again. I just wonder why it is quiet in these two days. Disaster always happened in our life, I think a person can peacefully live without troubling these things and no any big disease, it is quite lucky uh~ Sincerely hope that the tropical storm can go pass soon and you can reserve the normal life shortly then.

hello resssaaa, so sorry to know that you were also affected by the typhoon "ondoy." it's really unexpected that the typhoon will bring such a big problem to everyone living in that vicinity. rich and poor people experienced the same thing. i can just imagine then how hard in your part and here we are again, asking to get ready for another typhoon will come. with GOD's grace, hope the typhoon will change direction. anyway, you are still lucky that you are alive and safe.

seems this world has so many problems. as we had flooding, American Somoa had tsunami. Indonesia had an earthquake. and so this world seems to be in such hard times that it feels like we are at the end of the world. quite scary.

Thank God you are alright. I have experienced a few hurricanes and the damage that they do, but what happened there must have been awful. At least I knew that the hurricane was coming but that happened all of a sudden without warning. I'm very glad that you are okay and you will be in my prayers. God bless you.
