Chocolate is good for you :-)

Chocolate is not particularly high in caffeine. You would have to eat ten chocolate bars to get the same amount of caffeine as you find in a single cup of coffee. Chocolate is good for you — unfortunately, its additives aren’t! Pure cocoa powder is full of iron and antioxidants. Add sugar or butter, though, and the calories begin to mount.

Hi, moneymama I think chocolate is ok as long as we take it in moderation. Just like everything else in this world, too much of anything is not good for you. Aside for satisfying my occasional little cravings, I also eat chocolate to relieve headaches. Cheers!

I love chocolate too. The dark ones included. There's always something about chocolate that has always been close to my heart. Good discussion here definifely.

Yeah, i also heard that the chocolate is high-calory not because of the cocoa powder but of the mulk and sugar added in them. So just for the cocoa, it is good for health. I love them because it did make me cheer up a little like small coffe. However some of my friends don't believe the magic use of them.

Chocolate makes your teeth hurt, because too many substances sweetener. But it does not matter, as long as not eating it every day.

Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or more) is high in antioxidants and consuming ten grams a day has been proven to significantly reduce the risk of cancer and the effects of aging. As for milk chocolate and white chocolate has not been shown to have any health benefits at all though.

hi moneymaya^^;; I know that we can benefit from cacao like those of coffee and tea. i always love chocolate and will never give up..after all, it's my comfort food. I like dark chocolate from 56%-82% cacao. I prefer the bitter-sweet taste than those are much with sugar and butter as you say. My favorite chocolates are Lotte's dream cacao and Lindt dark chocolate.

hello moneymaya, chocolate with additives is too much sweet for me. that makes your tooth aches :D hehe but if we just minimize or control it's size, much better :D

I prefer to not to look at how unhealthy it is. I look at the positives but that usually means missing its nutritional values, oh well at least it tastes good!
