what is imaginative reading??

I don't know an "official" definition but I think that imaginative reading is when the author writes something but leaves out the details and you, as the reader, has to imagine what happen. For example, if a writer wrote, "John and Sue went into the room, and later, Sue ran from the room crying. John had a grim expression on his face." The writer doesn't tell you what happen or what was said, so you imagine that John said something or did something and you wonder why Sue is crying and you use your imagination to fill in all the details the author doesn't include.
