Do you have a lucky number?

Hi, I saw your profile and I see you have a love story with language as I do. I don´t really believe in luck, as luck. I do believe we make our luck with hard work most of the time. The day my daughter left the door open and my dog got lost for a whole day, I was furious. I told her that she should understand that love is an activity which requires spent energy. She DID know my door has a catch and you have to make sure it´s closed. I don´t think number 17 is really my lucky number. But I remember that day, so many years ago, and it´s a sort of symbol for me. But I do know some people believe in luck strongly. I thought it was interesting to see how other mylotters thought about luck. Have a nice day!

Hi thee again, yes I have a love story with language and am happy that one more is there at mylot who feels strongly about Language. But interestingly I am still learning this Language and learning the variation of the use and usage. I often resort to figurative language in my discussion. and about lucky number sometime I presume it to be 13, not exactly lucky but I love this number for on 13 my son was born. lol.

Language is like love: you never learn about it completly. Mylot has helped me a lot with my written English. My native language is Spanish. This post was interesting, after all. Most people´s reason of picking a lucky number had to do with the day they were born. So, for many of us, to be alive is the most important thing. But I picked the day I got married and your strongest motivation was the birth of your son. We´ll have to think about that. Happy posting!

We make up lucky numbers and a lot of other things. When I was pregnant the first time I heard pregnant women had cravings and they has to have them satisfied. There was evcen a fairytale about that. Well, I did not have any cravings so I invented one. The was a wonderful tea place where they had the best chicken, sweet pepper, mayo sandwichs in a delicious bread. I told my hubby THAT was my craving. He knew it was fake but he obliged. This weekend I´ll post little. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow my 2 youngest grandsons have their birthdays. Hug!

mine is 7:)because you have seven 7 "energy points" (chakras i think") Opening them through meditation can release their energy. Read revelation with this in mind, the seven houses, seven seals ect. The seven days may also be about us. 40 is another number used time and again in religions don't know why. 3 is used because of our subconscious, concsious and superconscious minds
