PAGASA had announced that after that one normal tropical storm that had brought devastation to everyone here in the Philippines there would be an upcoming storm and its expected landfall would be on friday late afternoon or on saturday early morning. Thhis typhoon called "pepeng" is a category 5 storm and honestly while "ondoy" has not even reached even category 1 what would happen to us by now? All we have got to do is to pray that the storm would change its direction. People haven't recovered yet from the tragedy Ondoy brought so Please help us pray for our safety.

Manila was spared from Pepeng's onslaught but it seems that the extreme Northern Luzon Provinces took the major hit in it. I have seen the destruction in terms of property was enormous. I am just glad that there seems to be no casualties in that area since I think they were able to brace for themselves and prepared quite well since they already knew that it is a super typhoon. Unlike we here in Manila we were quite unprepared since we were just signal No. 1 but never expected that the volume of water that it brings was that much.

Youall sure have had a lot of storms here lately! I know youall are tired of them and will be glad when they quit coming! I read a little something about them in last night's newspaper. Please know that I have been praying for youall and thinking about the people who have lost lives, loved ones, and those who are without food and shelter. I know there are some who have been getting some relief but I still think abou those who are still without. Kathy.
