Though I am not sure about others, with reference to my personal experience, I can surely say that internet is affecting my social life to great level. As I used to surf the net for more than 14 hours in a day, I am not meeting my offline friends.I am not attending some important functions of my relatives. I am failing to sleep well and my health is getting affected.Even I am not speaking with my family members well as like I did in the past, before the use of internet. I am not eating properly in time for most of the days. It is sure that internet and the computer both have made me like an addict.I know some of my online and even off line friends are doing like me only.In this way, our social relationship will be affected without any doubt.Really a good discussion and appreciate you for starting this discussion.

14 hours?! wow thats alot of time on the computer.. hope your health is getting better.. I tend to stretch or workout every other hour so I dont get stiff and stay in shape.. I have noticed if I stay on the computer for hours, my shoulders and neck start to cramp up big and this annoying pain kicks in which last for some times.. I just take 15 minute breaks when ever I can.

hi dear friend we cant say it is hundred percent right that internet ruining our social life see we can use it for important work by using it like that we can easily do our works

yes i think so. i spend more time in front of the computer than with my family or friends. i don't really mind because i like being alone and staying in my room. i am antisocial. =)
