Yes, I got my good night kiss from my son everynight. Everytime after I off the bedroom's light,my son will walk to my bed side to give me and his daddy a good night kiss. It has been a routine for my son.And I really love this routine.Of course, I will kiss back my son and say "good night" to him. We have a strong bonding relationship with each other and hope it will last forever. Do share with me your experiences. Thank you.

wow Shia.. I am envying you here... I have not got the first good night kiss from my baby yet.. since she is only 7 months old.. however I have been giving her one before she gets to bed, and hopefully by that, she will have this 'good' habit in time to come.. now, she only want to hold my hands while she sleeps, and sometimes even in the car while I drive.. I myself to enjoy the bonding moments, and which that she will want to do this till she gets older.. I shall look forward for the day it comes, when my baby girl run to me, and give me a good night kiss!

Hello Cwong! I am sure very soon you will have the first good night kiss from your baby, don't worry! But is good you start a good habit with her, kiss her every night so she will get use of it when she grows bigger. I am so envy on your bonding moment, LOL. Your baby just need your hand whenever she wants. It is so good feeling both of you holding hands! I like it! For me, I get to see my son is more HOOK at me more than his daddy. I love the moments he tag with me too.

hi vingyan and shia... yes, I am looking forward for the first ever good night kiss from my baby girl.. nowadays, she knows how to turn her face towards me, when I ask her, do you love mummy? or do you sayang me? I don't know how long I can have this moment, and I will treasure all the moments I can.

Hi Cwong, Don't envy me...very soon you will get yours too. When my son is younger(below 1 year old), I always give him a good night kiss. Once he knows how to walk,I teach him to give me and his daddy good night kisses every night and also wish eaach other"good night" before we go to bed. It has been a habit and we have been doing it more than a year. I really hope this kind of loving gesture can stay for long and forever.

Hello Shia, I don't kiss good night for my kids everyday. I can see my daughter don't like I kiss her, because I like to kiss her with my big mouth and leave my saliva on her face, LOL. But she likes to greet me ' good night , I love you' . And she expect I wish her back the same greeting. If I only say Good night, it is not enough for her,

Hello Shia, I like your son! He is so cute, I don't mind he comes over and kiss me, I like all his saliva on my face, ! My daughter is a poles of your son. She does not kiss us with saliva. She kisses us with just a mild kiss, she kiss me with slow motion kiss, I really hope one day she can kiss me greedily. For sure I will like it!

Actually he is not kissing me at nighttime only,During day time, I will also ask my son to kiss me and he will do the same, kiss nose, mouth and cheeks. That is so sweet... My three year old daughter and i share one bed... and she cannot sleep if i am not with her... so when we are already in bed, after talking for a while, and praying... she would say good night and kiss me... sometimes she would forget so i need to remind her... but it is now turning into a very sweet habit...

HI Aseretdd, Such a good thing that you always sleep with your lovely daughter. Yours relationship must be very close. Doesn't she want to sleep with his daddy sometimes? My son is sleeping with his daddy, but sometimes he will ask me to sleep with him too. Before he goes to bed,he will ask for his daddy and mummy for a kiss and we will wish each other "goodnight" and have a sweet dream !!

hi shia, thanks for the comment, kids are close to fathers and mothers, even in our places, kids are sleep with the parent, keeping a hand on his/her father or mother, while growing the intimacy will decrease with children and parents, have a nice day

HI Yugasini, There is a statement to say : Kids are always close more to their mothers rather than their fathers. As for my family, my son is close to both his daddy and mummy. Whenver we out together,he will demand us to hold his hand,so we always have to walk hand in hand together. I am taking care my son fulltime,so for sure, he stick to me like a supe glue. But when he saw his daddy back home from work, He will greet his daddy and want to be hug. Everynight, my son will kiss both his daddy and mummy and we will wish each other "good Night".

It will be very sweet to get a good night kidss from yuor kid. oh, that is very sweet. I used to give that to my mom and dad when I was a kid, but I don't do it anymore. Now, I am in twenties and I don't keep the habit of giving kiss to parents, I would rather give them a hug. Now, I am married and I don't have kids. I would liek to get a kiss from my kid saying 'good night'.

Hi Daliaj, Having a kid is kinda of happiest thing in our life. Raising up the kids is not an easy task. But when we see them grow up day by day, we feel so happy about it. Maybe you can consider to have a kid soon...then you can enjoy your parenthood life.Playing around with your kid and also can hug & kiss your kid anytime you want.

Hi Lelin, It is great to have a kisses from your granddaughter, that kinda of feeling is undescribable. That will be the happiest moments to have a hug and kiss with your granddaughter. My son is still young and we still do kissing to each other.but once he grow up and how about the shy feeling, I believe this loving gesture will be gone by itself.

hi shia, we are having a daughter and she is too young. she is one year and seven months old. so now we are the ones who give her kisses all the time. she is such a chocolate dessert for me that i cant resist eating her ,lol most of the time my hubby says that i will tell her how your mom use" to eat you up after every meal as a dessert and in the day time too. she was on a diet because of her weight and use to kiss you lick you and eat you, i will tell her. "when she'll grow up then she will no doubt give me good night and good morning kiss and i am waiting for it. now also when she is in her mood she will come and kiss you. but when she wanna sleep then no kiss. just milk and sleep. then i only kiss. in the daytime, or any time when she is awake she give kisses herself also and when asked then also. i love her a lot.

Growing up it was a nightly ritual for my brothers and I to kiss our parents good-night. I continued that tradition with my own children. It not only was a bonding experience, as the got into their teens, it was very easy to detect if they had been partying or not. It wasn't planned to be like that but I'll tell you...It did not take me long to figure out when they getting into stuff they weren't supposed to be.

I always get good night kisses from my three youngest children every night it just does not feel right if I don't. I also get a good morning kiss from my two youngest boys as well. My three year old son came running all the way to the top of the stairs with a cheery 'Good morning Mummy' the other morning and gave my a great big hug and kiss it made my day. I no longer get good night kisses from my two eldest boys as I think they feel they are too old at 16 and 18 for that. Most of the time I go to bed before them anyway.

Dear shia, That is so sweet and a very loving gesture. Good practice, keep it up! By the way, how old is your son now? I believe with a good night kiss, everyone will sure have a sweet dream When my son is very young, below 6..I used to kiss him on his cheek or forehead for a good night kiss. His daddy still like to steal a kiss on him even when he is at this age...LOL Nowadays, we only wish each other Good Night and God Bless you!

Hi Iriene, I do hope this loving gesture will keep going on till my son grows up.But of course, there is an age limit for him to kiss both his daddy and mummy. By time ,he started to reach his teenage ,I believe he must be shy to do it anymore. My son is currently 32 months old, still a small boy.So he still won't feel shy and will always kiss and hug his mummy and daddy every day.

Get a kiss or hug every night, every morning, and every time they leave the house. This applies to partners as well as children. Life is very funny and we never know which moment in time will be our last. I don't mean to be morbid, or anything, I just think it is important for our loved ones to know how much we really care. Imagine never getting a second chance to show (or tell) them how much they really mean to you.
