I miss some of the old tv shows such as touched by an angel, Knight Rider (the one they showed from the 1980's), 21 Jumpstreet, ABC's The Nine, Promiseland and Saved by the Bell. These are just a few. So, what are some of your favorite tv shows that are not on anymore or not bringing in new episodes. This can be from the 1980's until now. I know in some tv channels somewhere they show reruns, but it is not the same.

I miss shows like Designing women, Equalizer, MacGuiver. I even enjoyed watching Beauty and the Beast. Today's tv is not as good 80s tv atleast to me that is.

I remembered the Equalizer. That was a great show. Another show I missed was stingray. I do agree that the 80's had great shows than what they are showing now.

Just the other day, I was wishing one of the stations would bring back "F Troop" and run it again. I also wish they had continued the Buffy the Vampire Hunter series; even, if it was in another spin off like Angel.

Full House - it would be awesome if there could be just one "reunion" episode. Rug Rats - I grew up watching this show! Doug - another show I LOVED from my childhood. Lipstick Jungle - I never really got a chance to watch this show, because it was cancelled so quickly. It's kind of depressing, though, because the book was awesome! And I bet I would really enjoy the series had it continued to air. Those are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

I wish they had kept Angel going. According to Whedon, he had a sixth season planned, but apparently had a disagreement of some kind with the studio over getting a confirmation. From what I recall, he had asked if he could get a confirmation earlier than some of the other shows getting an extension, and the studio execs thought he was being too pushy. It's too bad, because I'm not the biggest fan of comics, and that's apparently the only way to find out what's going on in the Buffy/Angel world now. Another show I kind of miss is one that was just cancelled. I can understand the anxiety Fox had because of the fact that there was a Terminator film, but they just had to cancel it when there was a cliffhanger ending. They did the same with Dark Angel, but at least the Dark Angel series had three follow-up novels to explore what happened. Last I checked, Sarah Connor Chronicles didn't have anyone who could write novels rooting for it. At least, not a big name like Max Allan Collins was at the time. I think that's about it.
