Kidnapped and kept prisoner- A love story

Recently there has been a rash of abductees found after years of captivity alive and for all intents and purposes well. Kept in some underground bunker or in one case in tents out in the kidnappers backyard. One of the most recent to make headlines is here in California. A man and his wife kept a gifl that they kidnapped 18 years before in a compound in their backyard, where the man raped her daily and fathered two daughters ages 11 and 15 with her. The man was on parole and though his parole officers had visited the home on numerous occasions they noticed nothing amiss. How do things like this happen? The underground bunker cases I can sort of understand why no one ever knew they were there but in tents in a back yard free to roam around this woman never tried to escape? The rapist and pedophile says that over the years their relationship turned into a love affair. He loves Jaycee and says that she loves him to. He says that it is not a horrific story but a love story! What is wrong with this freak??? One of the other kidnappers said that he took good care of the girls and was doing them a favor by doing so!
