I have listent that bigger companies dont use php

Php is one of the most prefered language on internet. and most of the website are developed using this. but some of my friends told me that the most of the biggest companies dont prefer php and even they do not use this. is it true?? why??

I don't think that true at all. Php has a lot of use and widely used on the internet. Every big companies have their own website and most of them used php language.

I have also seen that but some people says that i must go for .net instead of php

Nah, it isn't true. The only web programming language being a worthy competitor to PHP is Ruby, and that be solemnly because it is easier to learn and use and is fairly just as powerfull.

Hi anurag. Ya i also have this question.I also think ed why the big companies doesn't use the the good software.In my point the companies may think it is not secured.But it's very easy language to work and it can work in both the platform's.

I think..it is not true.. there are many multinationals companied..who are using php.. and in india..also there are many companies..who are using PHP..
