I enjoy sites that teach you to be more self sufficient and be able to live without paying for everything. Sites like Instructibles, and eHow. I also like items on the edge like the anarchists cookbook. In the vein of these 2 areas is the web page http://wiki.stealthiswiki.org/ . I is based on Abbie Hoffman's Steal This Book from the 60s. It's a look at ways to live off the grid, to find free stuff, and to live fairly comfortably doing it. One part I do enjoy, and have contributed to, is a section on Free and cheap things by location. I live near Philly and have added about the river side concerts at Penn's Landing, and the pay as you can rate at the Museum of Art. Both things you can do for recreation that are easy on your budget. It is a wiki and a collaboration. With tough times occurring, and .who knows how long they will last, why not go there and see how it can help, and if you have any ideas or locations, post them. We need to help ourselves and help each other when times get tough.

I have bookmarked this and will be going back to study it more closely and share it. "Free" is one of my favourite labels! Thanks

Wow, thanks for giving me a reason to sit the rest of the weekend in front of my computer screen :) I really like this site and am sure I will find LOTS of cool ways to save with all the info I am finding.
