Lyp Sing Artist in Indonesia

I dont know why, but many of indonesian artist or band ( especially the new one ) is often doing lyp Sing at the live performance. And the bad part of it is, they act really bad so it easier to notice that they have a lyp sing. What do you think about artist like this, especially those who not even embaress doing that.
I think personally they has cheating the fans. Artist whose doing lyp sing maybe not confident with their own abilty to sing. Well, at least thats what i think. Althought maybe they are not in a very good condition also take into my consideration.
What do you think about this? And if you know about the reason of some certain artist doing lyp sing, can you share it with us?

I don't know much about indonesian musical artists, but i know that many artists who lip synch do so because they don't really sound as good as they do on the albums they sell. When they are in the recording studios making an album, their voice, and the voices of their back up singers are run through many computer programs that can enhance their voices somewhat. Not really changing them, but allowing them to alter them to sound their best, and if they were sing in a live perfomance, they certainly soudln't ound as spectacular.

oo yes, that could also be the reason. With technology now, you can make even an out of tune voice become a very beautifull voice. But what is artist, if they can make a good live performance. And also, in recording studio, they are allowed to make some fault, because they can undo that fault but in live, one fault can ruin everything.

You can hear through their breath and the song.. If they sing precisely like the recorded song, usually they lip sync.. Most of Indonesian singers don't have a good vocal technique, so you can hear their breath on the mic..
It's so different if you pay attention to it, hehe

Well, if you watch it in tv, you will c it. Just watch their every move. Example, some time when the singer still dancing around, the song came up. Or i heard in one of the music show ( just rumour ), the cd is actually broken and the sound become bad and stop. But i dont know if the rumour is true or not, i think i heard too many rumoir :p

Yes, that could also be a clue. Also most artist who dont use lip sync have pride on what they do. They usually talk to a mic and make many clue to show that they are not on lip Sync. Some time they put the mic to audience to show them, that if his not singing, then there will no sound come out.

Hi there Lordcaocao! I know this from my friend. Why do they artist do lipsync? Because they're paid half than if they sing alive. For example : Band A will get paid 40 million if they sing alive, but only get paid 20 million if they do lipsync. I think almost all singers on SCTV do lip sync, because it's requirement from SCTV itself. SCTV wants to save its money so they have their singers lipsync.. Even if they have to use more electricity or something because they have their singers lip sync but they save more when they only pay the singers half than ususal..
I agree with fruitcakeliz, lots of singers don't have that great voice. For example Vierra.. Oh goshhhhhhh,,, her voice is sooooooooooo disguisting,, hahaha *upss*
that's why I like international singers better than that fake singers..
why become a singer if you don't want to sing, eh?

OO, So that is why. So The television also want the singer to be lip sync, so they can save more money. I think that kind of thing is very stingy, and really really bad. Why make a live performance show, when actually the artist is not singing live? It is a sad thing to know about this information.

Yes, it's weird.. I guess they want to satisfy their watchers, by having music shows.. But they don't want to spend a lot of money.. But sometimes,, the bands who perform in SCTV are not good bands...

Yes, another fact that i found. Some say that watching a show like inbox, dashyat, etc. Those who watch it actually paid for just watching them? Is it true? That's why there is many people watching them. But it just rumour, i dont have any proof abaout it. Well, television bussines is really are strange.
Well, in inbox, i dont really watch the band. What i watch is usually only TeamLo. So i cannot comment much about it.

Well i think lip sync is a not spectacular thing anymore. Many artist use it, wheter they are from my country, or other. Even many International artist do it. The question is, what do they feel when they do it. Did they feel a lil guilty when they act on the stage deceiveng their fans? It maybe a question that the answerr i will never found out.
