I had a bright idea!

My roomie's folks are going to have their 50th wedding anniversary party later this month. Pretty exciting huh? Well, because the roomie collects music and can convert records to digital cd's she's been designated the "DJ" of the party. "Well, we could take out that stereo and set up to change the cds and ..." she's been saying. "I'm going to have to burn them all and keep track of the music." "Too bad you can't put them on an iPod and then you wouldn't have to burn the cds and worry about keeping the music going." "Yeah, but I don't have anything to play them on." "What about that Bose you have?" Now, she won this iPod playing Bose thing way back when it first came out and after taking it out of the box to look at it, has never used it. "Yeah, I could do that, can we get to it?" "If I can't get to it, we can get some help to get it down," I replied. So, she told her mom and its like "!!!!" the GREATEST IDEA EVER! Now I'm back in mom's good graces again. When's the last time you had a bright idea?

Gee, this is sad, guess using the bread machine to make more than bread this year would be the closest thing to a bright idea.

that's a great idea! What do you use it for? I've had bread maker books that tell you to make up the dough in the bread maker and then take it out to cook - sounds like work to me

I can do either, put stuff into the machine and take out a loaf of bread. But I like cinnamon buns, fried bread dough, jelly rolls, things that do require taking out of the machine and then baking, pretzels would be fun.

Thank you for best response. Some bread machine books have making jam and jelly in a bread machine, I found out, too. Take care friend and happy baking!

Oh, I have bright ideas all the time... unfortunately, I can't remember any of them. (In some cases, I guess that would be "fortunately". )

probably most of mine are like that and are also frequently forgotten, I had thought this one a few times before in passing, this was just the first time I actually MENTIONED it!

For me bright ideas come and go. I do not rember when I had the last good one. I think that when we get things done and sove some the probelm, we then foget about what we did to fix it to begen with.
