Portsmouth finally win a game

I have only watched extended highlights of the game so I'm not too sure about the overall performance of Pompey. What I would say is that they had this win coming. They performed extremely well against Everton and were unlucky to have lost the game. Having said that, from the highlights that I thought they could have easily lost this game given the chance that Wolves generated. Doyle, Kightly and Ebanks-Blake all had very good chances to score. Will Portsmouth capitalize on the win and start moving up the table? I'm not sure. The trouble off the field is disastrous and the squad seems extremely light at the back and up front.

Till this match Portsmouth were having a bizarre tournament with six consecutive losses. Finally they got some points on the league table that too by winning an away match. Thats really something incredible. Thanks to the the on loan Benfica player. Anyways still they have a long a to go. Hopefully they will recover from this start of theirs.

I am not a football fan and know absolutely nothing about English football (I'm an Aussie) but since I lived most of my young life, during the war years, at Gosport, near Portsmouth, I'll congratulate the Portsmouth team and wish them well.
