okay we've all heard of the bridge to nowhere they wanted to build in alaska, but we now have an airport to nowhere. well, ya, it's somewhere, about 40 or so minutes from a small regional airport just outside of Fulton, NY (my hometown) that I think is operating at around 50% capacity, and about 27 minutes from syracuse hancock airport which isn't operating anywhere near capacity... By what I read, the people who live in the area don't want it, and no one can really understand the need for it, but, well, there's a couple of developers who really, really, want it, so.... here we go!! and...here we don't go, what gives here, they let me copy and past a link a few minutes ago, and know they don't, oh, well...do a search for hastings, ny,airport on google news, and it will pop up. just the comments that the readers have posted under the story will be worth you time.

Don't forget the John Murtha Airport in PA. It has 3 flights a day to Washing DC and has been receiving millions over the years in government money and for what - John Murtha's reelection?
