So, I have responded a discussion about eating frog's legs.*puke*
I was not going to talk about that actually. I recalled when I was still in elementary school, I loved to catch frogs and put them in the buckets. Me and my siblings as well as my neighbors that we were very close with, would search everywhere for any type of frogs especially under the rocks, inside the bushes or grasses, and the bigger the frogs were, the happier we were! Wuahhh... at the very thought of it just freaks me out because when I grow older, if I see some frogs, I would feel sooo... scared (??) I don't know if that is the correct word because I just could not describe the feelings. I don't have the guts to touch them even when the frogs don't do nothing and look up at me harmlessly.
Have you ever felt that way? You were very brave when you were little, but when you grew older, all the things you dared to touch before would scare you or feeling disgust. Does anybody know why it happens?? Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Hi, Cutepink!
I was so brave when I was young, but if you ask me to catch and hold one now, I would run as far as I could!!
However, some people do eat them and they said that they taste like chicken meat. Well, it all depends on one's preferences.

Dear corrycrystal,
Yes, it is so TRUE! It applies to me too
When I was very young, my mum normally asked me to go and
dig for earth worms to feed the ducks. I happily bring a
bucket and a hoe to the estate soil and start digging for
those long wiggly earth worms. Some maroonish, brownish and
dark colours. Some are very active and can really jump about.
Then when I was 13 years old. My science teacher asked us to bring
earthworms for science studies. So I volunteered and brought some
big ones. I dare to catch it with my bare hands. BUT NOW, I
felt so disgusted even look at them. Wonder how people can deep fried
it and eat as snacks!

Hi, Iriene!
Yes, that is what I mean. I did that too, touching them with my bare hands and not only frogs, but all those slimy things. So, you brought the big ones to the class?? Hahaa... I wonder why when we are big, we are feeling like we have never touched them before. I never heard of people deep fried the earth worms!
I have seen in a documentary filmed in a certain place that the people will fry ants of specific type and even sell those fried ants. They eat them like peanuts.

I've never been that way about any like, living thing or something. I've had that feeling about Barney though. When i was younger, like, three or four i guess, i loved him, but now he gives me the creeps. I guess it's just because as we get older we create new oppinions on things, because we'd been given new information about them??

Hi, Bezini! Aww, I love Barney hahaha... Not really, but I do love the songs. I grew up without Barney, but my nephews and niece enjoy the songs very much, and so do I.
Maybe you are right about being given the new information. I guess when we grow older, we tend to see everything in details.

Are you serious?? people really deep fry worms for snacks?!
that's disgusting!! I mean, i'm all for trying new things, but im not about to go eat something that spends it's entire life hanging out in the dirt. Do they know how many different kinds of bacteria just hang out in the soil? there's no way they'd be able to get a worm clean enough to eat!
