High school sucks. I mean, lets be real, it does. Dirty bathrooms, cranky teachers, and the ever present drama. It's beyond irritating. But the hardest part, i think, is the fact that all your teachers seem to assume that they're the only person you see that day, and therefore don't already have a mount of extra work to do when you get home. They'll all assign you nearly two hours worth of work a night without bothering to think that maybe your other six teachers haven't already done that, and then they all have the gall to ask you why you're so tired the next day. i can't tell you how ready i am for graduation, because that means college comes next, and atleast then i'll be doing work for classes i actually WANT to take, not those that are required for me to take every single year. (YES ALGEBRA 1, 2, and 3, I'm talking about you!)

Bezini, Congrats are in order for you. If you were my kid, I would give you a hug and tell you just how proud of you I am. I absolutely love your rant. Everything you say is true. Unfortunately, there is not much that will change between now and when you graduate. One thing I can say, You are going to be sooo prepared for anything that life throws your way. You are laying an excellent foundation. Keep up the good work.

High school is only for a few short years - though it seems like it's way too long. The teachers may be busting your butt on the work, but believe me, you are going to have harder days ahead after high school . . . this is only the beginning! Enjoy your high school years - graduation will come soon enough - you might find later on in life that high school was actually easier!! Depending on what type of college you go to, you may still still be required to take some general classes that you have no interest in. Getting a degree isn't all about taking the classes you relating to your degree - they want you to be well rounded in other subjects too. Some professors you will like, some you won't - just like high school. You will have more freedom than you did in high school, and possibly enjoy the whole college experience. But don't think college will be much easier than high school. And most of all, hard work is for the rest of your life . . . you'll always come across cranky people, and drama wherever you go in life! (The dirty bathrooms may or may not be there - ha ha). Good luck to you!!!!!
