Do you put up Halloween decorations inside or outside your house? When do you put them up? My family had some Halloween decorations, but we usually forget to put them up until the last minute, lol. We usually just out up a cute wooden doorhanger and some carved pumpkins.

I decorate the front pourch and yard. Ghost, scarecrows, witches, a grim reaper, spiderwebs the whole thing. Quite a lot of it stays up all year.

I don't do Halloween, I like the costume stuff, but it is so anti-religious - heck, even anti-pagan, all it glorifies these days is the evil, often drinking and vandalism, yes, there's still fun there, but so much evil the name comes from All Hallow's Eve - or the Eve of All Saint's Day...

I'm not a halloween person... never have been. But my grand duaghter loves to decorate for any holiday so I have been decorating minorly for halloween each year. Just minor stuff, but she likes it. THis year, I have one tote of halloween stuff, but I dont' want to get it out as she won't be here much this year and I don't want to deal with it all for 30 days and then be the one that puts it all away when she won't even be here but a few hours between now and then. So I just got online and printed out some coloring pages and things, and let her color/cut them out and tape them on the walls wherever she wants. THat way, she gets the fun of the craft, but also gets to decorate and I don't ahve much to clean up when it is over!

Unfortunately, Halloween is not really popular in the Philippines, so we never bothered to put some decorations. We look forward for Christmas season so as early as September our mind is focusing on Christmas holidays and decorations instead of Halloween.

We put up our Halloween deocrations inside (I'm always afraid things are going to blow away in the wind) . . . except that we usually put some type of scary decor on the front door. I usually put them up a week or two before Halloween so we don't get bored of them, but my little one asked to put them up already . . . so we may this week. We have various plastic animals (like black rats and bats or spiders), jack o'lantern light to put on the window, knick knacks, scarecrows, witches, and I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting. I like to buy those little pumpkins to put on the table, but we might buy a big pumpkin this year. Oh, and we have a ceramic bat dish for cookies!!!
