White teeth

How do you whiten your teeth? I've tried just about every product on the shelves to try to whiten my teeth and I haven't found anything that works yet. I spent around six thousand dollars fixing my teeth and now that they are straight and healthy, I can't get them white.
I'm hoping to find a natural way to whiten my teeth. Does anyone have any suggestions? What have you tried?

Wow, that is a lot of money, but a healthy mouth is important. I am not so concerned about the whiteness of people's teeth and I know some of the products used are dangerous. There is one theory that the glycerin they put in all the toothpastes and mouthwashes actually traps bacteria on the surface of the teeth and that contributes to problems including discoloration and cavities.
What I have noticed myself, though, is that certain foods stain more than others. I do like my teeth to feel clean, though, and for that I use baking soda.

Yeah, I spent a lot of money on my teeth. My teeth were crooked but surprisingly in somewhat healthy shape otherwise but on the verge on getting bad. I had to go to a peridontist before I could get any cosmetic work done. The lesson to be learned here is to teach your kids to take good care of their teeth, then they won't cost so much later on. When I was a kid, your teeth were not considered an important factor, now we all know better.

I don't think there is anything natural about whitening your teeth even by going to the dentist apart from a normal clean...I think the best whiteneing is by the dentist. I saw a report on TV that a lot of the home whiteners can avtually do damage to your teeth if used frequently.
