i would like to know from everyone who watched this game what they thought about the grand final My thoughts are that the game was played very well, after it was between the two teams that deserved to in it as well as a clash between the 2 best fullbacks in the game, which are Jarrad Hayne as well as Billy Slater. This game also showed the different between Parramatta, who made it into the finals on the back of winning 10 out of the last 11 games and last made the finals in 2001, but were beaten by the Newcastle Knights then.As well as Melbourne Storm, which since its inception into the league has been really successful with winning 3 premierships and making the last 4 grand finals and having players like Slater,Inglis,Smith,Cronk,Johnson etc. The first half went all Melbourne way as they crossed in the first couple of minutes by Ryan Hoffman , then scored later on to lead 10 nil at half time. By then,it was looking like the Melbourne Storm would have a easy win, but after half time it changed the moentum of the game After half time, it only took Parramatta a few minutes to break the line as well their scoring duck. After that is was 10 6 and they were catching up fast and with heads full of steam. Then in the next few minutes later, 2 more tries to the storm were scored and with 20 minutes to go and a 22 6 margin it had looked like the Storm had won this game easily. The last couple minutes of the name with very edge of your seats play. With Parramatta managing to score the final 2 tries to trail by 6 points with 10 minutes left on the clock. Then in the last couple of minutes a referee appeared to make a blunder when a player was said to have stripped the ball, when it looked like he had just dropped it. It gave Melbourne a penalty and they managed to get a field goal which made it close to impossible to catch up with 3 minutes left on the clock. Melbourne won, and now they have won 2 out of the last 4 grand finals. Great match to watch, i enjoyed it being a Melbourne Storm supporter. What was everyone elses view of the game , especially anyone from outside of Australia who also managed to watch it
