I'm from the Philippines and as some of you may know that our country was hardly hit by storm Ketsana. You may check some pictures and vids from some reputable sites like youtube, cnn, bbc, google, etc.
After Ketsana tho, our country has been hit again by another storm. I think the international codename for Pepeng is PARMA. So it's been really hard for us to stand with these kind of catastrophes.
I hope that all you guys are okay, stay safe always!

We Pinoys were badly hit by Ketsana. Unfortunately for us, we live in the Pasig-Cainta area, one of the hardest hit by the typhoon. To make the long story short, floodwater reached up to the ceiling of our house and we almost lost everything. The good part of it is that we're still alive. It's been more than a week now and our house is still in a sad state, but we're slowly picking up the pieces.

the typhoons now have left the country but what it left was devastation. many people near backs of rivers can no longer go back because their houses were swept away by the floods. there were a lot of landslides too, lives lost
too many families are displaced and have no place to stay. some who opted to stay in their houses are now suffering hunger due to unpassable roads for the relief goods.
now people can see what it is like when mother earth gets angry. i hope they learn now to love her.
