How much do you recycle?

I don't really recycle much. If I do recycle, it'll be aluminum cans. Otherwise, the plants processing the recycling produce more pollution than what they're actually saving by recycling.

I live in the Reigate and Banstead district - which must be THE worst place for recycling in the UK. We get one small bin - to put all our paper and cans in - and the nearest recycling banks are 1/2 mile away! I do my best, though! What part of Surrey are you from? You're the first surrey myLotter I've found, who doesn't live in Canada!

I don't know if I'm good enough but I always try to do my share in recycling. At home we have two garbage bins under the sink, one for biodegrable which we put in the compost pit and the second one is for waste not usable or recyclable. Pet bottles usually are common and so are cans and we put them in another container which a person who's into buying scraps collects and buys from our "junk. Plastic bags are used again when going to the wet market or lining up some garbage bins in the bathroom. Cans or containers from milk or ice cream are used as garden pots. Bottles also are used as vases which I just hide in something like cloth or paper or bamboo to make it look nice and no one can tell that it's from a gatorade bottle.

Hello: I am glad you sense a kind of care for the environment.I do not have that habit. I always take my garbage classifcation, and then into the the trash. Is also another way for the environment.
