Different MSN username upon sign-in?

Just curious if any of you know how this might've happened ... I have previously had a friend sign in on my laptop to their msn, so their username was among the list of usernames displayed for sign-in. However, I had my username as the "Remember Me" option and it was always displayed every time I opened msn as the default username, so that I would simply have to type in my password and it would sign in. However, when I turned on my computer this morning, my username was no longer on the list, but my friend's username was the default one being displayed, prompting the password for it. There is no way anyone else could have been using my laptop since last night, but is it possible that they have signed into my account on a different computer? Would windows live then be displaying their address as the default one on my laptop as well?

Them signing in on a different computer wouldn't do this. This is something that's been saved by your computer on your computer. They probably still had the Remember Me checked selected when they put their username in, and that's why their name is being remembered now instead of yours. If you type your username back in and re-check the Remember Me option, that should replace your friends username with your own in your computers memory.

thanks; that makes sense, but I still don't understand how my username got deleted and their username became the default one. They haven't logged on on this laptop since months ago, and I have been having my username as the default one ever since. It's just very odd, to say the least.

This happens to me whenever a friend uses my computer to check her email. Somehow, every once in a while, I seem to get bumped and she is the username and account on my computer. It doesn't happen every time though, and that confuses me. I am pretty positive it is not someone else signing in from another computer, so you have nothing to worry about there.
