After three Years

I became a member of mylot three years ago. At first, I joined because I wanted to earn money. But during the first few months, I could only earn a few cents a day. Needless to say, I was never able to make it to the minimum payout.
For starters, I am to blame for not being able to reach the payout all these years. There was even a time when I would just read the discussions but not participate. Then some personal matters prevented me from being able to respond to discussions. I just logged in, read discussions, then logged out.
I am opening this discussion because the amount of my earnings show near minimum payout 
. It seems that after three years, six months and I don't know how many days, I will get paid. Happy mylotting!

Congratulations Anne! I wish my Mom and Dad named me Anne. That's my favorite name. At least it's not too late to celebrate for your first myLot payout. Let's party for your achievement. Just kidding! I am just happy to know that a co-myLotter is finally getting paid for her hardwork. Keep it up!

Hey anne25penn, I was also like you, even though I joined about 3 years back, I lost interest because of the slow internet connection in my house. It was only last year after we got a broad band connection, and my son started participating in a lot of discussions, that I once again came back.
My son has lost interest, and he is not quite regular, but as for me, I have become addicted to MY lot, and I do not miss it a single day if I am in the town.

Hi anne. I first joined for the same reasons as you did. To make some money. But even after I found out that mylot only pays so much I was still willing to stick it out as I love participating in discussions! Because of this I've been able to make payout a few times and have made well over $100 from this site alone. The trick is not to give up. The earnings may be slow to go, but it does add up.

Yay! I've just reached the minimum myself, after about a year, thanks to the Tasks. It is tough making it to the minimum payout. But I guess they can't just give their monies away.

it's either i forgot or i never knew you were an oldie like the rest of the others.well, that's one of the things that newbies and my referrals are doing now. probably why other people resented when i made a discussion about deleting referrals, because from my point of view, they'll never come back but one their view they might change their minds. 1 person likes this

We joined mylot roughly at the same time and I really worked hard for it then and was able to get paid more that once. For some reasons, i needed to be away but now I'm back again and started joining discussions. Glad that you will soon reap the fruits of your labor. LOL

I am happy for you. As for me, I joined Mylot a year ago and I was only able to reach one payout of $10.00. My problem was my slow internet connection, so eventhough I was logged on to Mylot the whole day, I was only earning very little. I also stopped visiting this site for a long time because I became very busy with work. Sometimes I logged in but just read some discussions. My earning was stuck at $5 for months! When I came back, I tried to do some tasks and all were accepted. So now I have almost reached payout too, only a few cents more.
Now I can say that I am really enjoying it here. I would not waste time earning cents if I am not, right?

for me its been 1 year on this website but truly speaking i do less discussion here because they pay very less for the small discussion, it was also the time when i use to earn .50 $ a day this is again good amount but its been 1 year i have just reached to $5.23 lets see i think i dont have any active referral here on mylot also alone nobody can earn huge money. I will feel very good if i will reach to the minium payout and will see earning in m,y paypal account

Good to hear that you are near the minimum already and that your interest is back. Maybe you focused too much on responding to discussions when in fact you earn more on tasks. :-)

Really? I am recently joined here and I am actively participated the discussions and response after two weeks of registration because I don't believe that this site is legitimate. But when I have read some posted discussions and response, I take time to participate and I have earnings already but never reach to pay-out.

congrats anne!! i just started my lotting and i can understand you. sometimes i just read the discussions and comments and even though i have good comments for certain discussions i sometimes don't post them. lol. i started a discussion about coffee addiction and i just can't keep up with the responses. anyway, i'm inching slowly (surely,i hope. ;p)

Hi Anne! Congrats on your first payout. I've been having the same problem as you had, although I've only just started. I just find it so much easier to read what others have written then post what I've got to say. It's almost like I'm trying to tell myself that I'll get paid anyway haha. Happy posting!

i finally did it in 3 also but i respond more than start discussions , we all know no one is gonna get rich on " any " one of these sites but it's a good way to meet new people and get a few questions asked and some answered that we never thought of, so here's .oooo1 towards your goal, lol

Congeatualtions for finally reachaing payout. I have been here since April, and I have been paid every month so far, but I have had to put effort into it, to get it, as I don't have referrals, and I don't do tasks. I just post responses bacially, and sometimes I do start discussions, but I haven't starte all that many since I have been here. I enjoy sharing my views with others, and that is why I mainy post responses. It is a lot of fun being here and I hope to continue what I have been doing. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

It seems many times I get really distracted by what I am supposed to be doing. The point of mylotting is to create discussions other people would easily be able to relate to, or to read other discussions and give your opinion right? Well so many times I read a discussion, get bored with it and read another one. Or I think in my head how I do or do not agree with a certain topic, but I never take the sixty seconds to actually type it out for everyone. I also seem to spend a lot of time on here, but am making little progress in the earnigs department. I also do not understand the tasks. can anyone help??
