Divali is coming.

How manty Hindu are on my lot? I come from a multi cultural society where the main religious holidays are public holidays, Eid, Divali, Christmas,Corpus Christi, Good Friday, Baptist have a Public Holiday to celebrate their involvement in the systems for change and their determination to survive. But its Divali this time, I am not a Hindu but I have lots of friends who invite me over to their homes on Divali Day. The lights are the most beautiful thing to see. The bamboo is bent and made into different shaped stands for the Dias.

Hello. I have many very nice friends who are Hindus. Very nice people. And, I have been to Divali festivals too. It is very beautiful how the festival is celebrated. I was also fortunate to be in India once at the Divali festival time. It is very impressive indeed. There are also many people from India in the city where I am living. Divali Day is a very special religious day !
