It's better don't get up when you fall asleep. If you get up more than once, can you still have a sound sleep?

Once I fall asleep, I don't usually wake up having to pee, as long as I go before I lie down. But when I have insomnia, and nothing to think about but how I feel, I go through a kind of cycle of thirst and peeing. It's weird. I'll be thirsty, have a drink, then a little while later have to pee, then I'll be thirsty again, then...you get it. I dont' know why that is, but its a pain. Though once I fall asleep, I am ok and don't usually wake up having to go TOO bad in the morning.

there are certain times that i get up from sleep during the night. it is because i had to go to bathroom to relieve myself. this usually happens when i had too much water or drinks during the night. generally though, i sleep the night through. i sleep as soon as my head touches the pillow and wake up at 6 am to get ready for work. i always have a good night's sleep regardless of what time i sleep.

Getting up in the middle of the night to pee can be a medical problem. Such as bladder weakness or sleep apnea.Although when we mense it is more common since our uterus is turned causing pressure.Practicing keggles helps to stop this disruption from your sleep but takes time to train. Since I have started ,I have no problems getting up at night now that my bladder has strengthened.

I used to pee a lot at night. Luckily now, I have trained myself to control my urination.

hi,for me it is almost like what jennlk says.I may get up once or twice. If i don',t
I may have a dream where I have to pee and I cant find a place and then I wake up and go to the bathroom.Nowadays I don't drink much water after 6 pm.So now the problem has almost gone.

Unfortunately I typically get out of bed twice in the night to use the bathroom. Some nights i don't get up at all, other nights I get up more! I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I probably should stop drinking it at like 7pm, so it has time to go through my system.
I could never lie in bed and no get up to pee. This would cause me to sleep really poorly. I typically have dreams about having to pee and not being able to make it to the bathroom (when I do actually have to go. ) This is my body's way of trying to get me up to go!
