What do you think keeps you from being productive?

What distracts you or keeps you from being productive? I for one would want to be more productive than how I am today, but it seems that the weather (hot, very hot weather) just stops me from doing so, I don't want to do anything, I am really sweating and I have turned all two electric fans to no avail. Another point is the fact that I'm worried about something else, which is why I'm not focused enough today. How about you? What keeps you from being productive today? or Are you productive today?

For me, it's not getting enough sleep at night. When I only get less than 6 hours of sleep, I feel the lack of energy and sometimes I even fall asleep on my work desk. Which is really bad, of course. And like you, worrying distracts me from what I should be doing.

I guess I forgot about "lack of sleep". I guess it really affects overall performance of a person, I can't imagine not having enough sleep and doing something really difficult in the morning. I could remember the story of my brother, he is a medical technologist and he said that the day before he drank strong coffee. He wasn't able to sleep and then the next day he was not functioning well, he even asked his colleagues to do the blood extraction for him because he wasn't confident because of being sleep deprived. I couldn't imagine what could have happened if he insisted on taking the blood out of a patient in that condition. I guess I forgot about "lack of sleep". Thanks for the response, apologies for a very late reply. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

It just got cooler here in Vegas but the heat here can be distracting. I'm addicted to air conditioner now, need it to sleep, in the car, etc. Once I'm cool I keep focused on task. Sounds like you already know what's keeping you from staying focused since you mentioned your worried about something. Take care of that something and your focus powers should return.
