2 weeks ago, my my country, Philippines, hit by typhoon Ondoy. I lived in MAnila which Odoy hits very bad... Im at the office that time and we experienced non stop rain, around lunch time and it did not stop till night.I doest able to go home because of 5feet flood in my way home... I'm so scared and thinking my family that time. I slept in the office with my officemates which also stranded that time. we went home around 6 am in the morning and the flood below my waist line...Without knowing, my uncle in father side, died...He died because of drowning in Tullahan river. I'm so sad what happened to my family. But in the other side, im thankful because no one hurt in my family (my mom and my sis and her baby. In time of disaster the only shield is Prayers. I think god just want to remind us that all the things that we have and we see is not forever. we should learn to appreciate and take care of all things we have... And i'm thankful because.... I Survived...

So happy you and your immediate family are okay, ehlsie; I cannot imagine how terrible your experience must have been. My condolences for the loss of your uncle, may he rest in peace. You are so kind to remind us to be more grateful for our own blessings, thank you. I hope all continues to improve for you and that you will be safe throughout the rest of this storm season. I will be mindful of you and your country in my prayers.
