Do you consider yourself a gifted conversationalist? / myLot

I observe that some people are gifted in breaking the ice and keeping the conversation going. Others are just not good at it, they only talk when asked and hesistant to initiate something. People persons, I think are usually gifted conversationalists. How about you?

I am not usually the one to break the ice but I can carry on a conversation when somebody initiates. I can not exactly say that I am not a people person because people interest me and I love to get to know them by listening to their stories. I think I can keep the conversation going as long as I have questions that will draw out thoughts, ideas and stories from the people I talk to.

I don´t know if I am "gifted" (sounds so nice!), but I like to talk with other people, ask them things, listed to their points of view, sometimes argue, relate with them. I like to do it anywghere, not only in my circle of friends or in my social class. I like people and I learn from them. Happy posting!
