According to some travel related sites, Nepal is best place for travelling from September to November.

I remember going to a picnic and meeting a person that had just come home from a trip to Nepal. He showed us some amazing looking photos of the stunning looking mountains. He told us about the walking tracks and the porters. He said that the people in Nepal had been really friendly.
