Hey friends, I just read today, the Apple might introduce the touch screen tablet computers this month. It is quite exiting to hear that at last we may have the touch screen computer. Something like a big IPhone. What is your feeling on this.

I don't really think a tablet computer is for everyone. Perhaps a tablet is more for a teacher or a businessman. It is cool to have a larger iPhone, but are your really going to take it with you all the time? I guess using a mouse is still more convenient than touch gesture when you are using a computer.

Agreed, I am still more comfortable with the mouse in a regular computer. I am not happy with the lap top also. Thanks for the response.

I am thinking of the times when I am sleeping on the bed or lazing on the sofa. I think at such times, the tablet is much better and easier to use to just browse sites or read a book. I definitely don't think I will take it all around, just use it at home in the mornings and evenings. Unfortunately, knowing Apple, it will probably be overpriced, so I may have to settle for a netbook in the end. Sigh...

Good day Wow how nice to have an apple tabhlet computer at home, one of the newest and most advance computer here. Lucky for those who can afford to buy but in my case I cannot I will still go for the desktops and laptops because it's handy and I can carry it anywhere I want I also like the mcbook air. I guess only the features really differs but the usage I guess it's the same.

You are right on that point, In the initial stages, the tablet computer will be priced in higher range. As days pass, it will be priced a little bit less.As you are aware, the any apple products are expensive, including the mcbook air. So only a few privileged ones will buy the Tablet computer.

I have read about Microsoft has come out with touch screen computer, which is called Surface. I am not sure if this is similar to what Apple is introducing, and if we are affordable to get one of those advanced computer. It's pretty cool if we can move around the programs or objects on the screen with our hands, but after awhile, our hands may get tired of moving and touching the objects on the screen? If you are interested in knowing more about the Microsoft Surface, you may visit here: http://www.microsoft.com/surface/

Thanks for the information and response, kaka135. The main point is the price, I presume in the initial stages, it will be quite expensive and the prices might fall as the production picks up.

I think it is a great idea. I use my iphone to check emails and surf the web sometimes, but I would really love a larger screen. Essentially, it would be like a netbook but more flexible because you could use it when lying down and read a book on it. As long as it supports keyboard input, has a stand and isn't overly priced, I'd love to buy one...

Your wish is going to come true. Most probably Apple computers are going to introduce this month itself. Thanks for the response.
