We always see the logo sticking on the bus, but still there are a lot of passengers neglecting the prohibit and talk to the driver. Today I keep concern on the bus as the passengers keep talking to the bus driver for the daily things. I really disgust that. How about you? Do you hate the behaviour on that? Will you talk to your "passengers" while you drive?

I don't like to drive much so for me, I need all the concentration not distraction I can get while driving. No radios, cellphones ringing, children talking for me. I sometimes switch off the fan of the aircon because the humming sound bothers me. My passengers have to be really quiet or else I might hit a post.

Thanks for your response here, if every guy can have the cautious manner like you, I am sure that no accidents will occur. Happy Mylotting.

I agree but I did have an accident despite exercising outmost caution.

While I drive, nobody should speak to me. Total concentration is required for driving. Driving is such a thing that even a little distraction will prove to be dangerous. Those passengers who talk to the driver really do not understand what driving is; the risk involved in it. It seems such people have never driven anything in their lives.

Yes, I think the driver should have this conscious too. What really annoy me most is the driver feel very happy that somebody talked to him. I just feel that the life is hanging on the cliff. Happy Mylotting.

The driver should point out to them that it is against the rules to chat to the driver. That rule is there for a reason. That driver is responsible for the safety of everyone on that bus. He/she needs to focus on the road 100%. I don't drive a bus but I have a teen daughter. One example stands out in my mind. Last year I was driving a group of these girls to the mall. They were so squeally and giggly. I asked them several times to tone it down as we were on the highway moving very fast in heavy traffic. We were travelling to a mall we'd never gone to before and I really needed to pay attention to the signs as well as the road. They would be quiet for a minute or two and slowly the volume would go up. At one point, I was trying to switch lanes and looking from rear to in front of me when one of them let out a random loud hi-pitched squeal. I jumped and when I did I bumped the steering wheel and almost jumped into the next lane. The car coming up beside us layed on the horn and my stomach almost flew out of my throat. I pulled into the breakdown lane and stopped. When my breathing got back to normal I didn't have to use a lot of words to explain to them the importance of not distracting the driver. It was to their benefit not to. After that they kept their chatting amidst themselves to a low buzz.

Hi Sid556, Thanks for your response, I believe that the rule is ambilateral. If the bus driver did not respond to the passenger and just give them a kind reminder, I think passenger will not distract the dirver's concentration any more, after all, most the people are adult. Thanks for sharing your experience to us, it is a headache if the girls are squealling and giggling all the time without sensing the accidents risk:) And it is lucky still that time as you can brake down in a proper way. Happy Mylotting.

Yes, I don't agree more and I think the passengers will have the conscious on this while they are in the car or bus. Happy Mylotting.
