Windows 7 is a new released version operating system by Microsoft. But if you have noticed, the icons can be placed on the task bar which is actually the same as the dock menu on mac computers! Is Microsoft trying to steal or follow mac?

Windows 7 is just Vista with a new clown suit... It's the same OS, with the same fundamental flaws...
I've been a Windows user for 15 years and switched to Mac about 2 years ago. I just LOOOOOVE my Mac! It easy to use, yet powerful if needed. It's secure and does everything Windows can do.
Yes, it's more expensive at purchase. But if you buy now, you can actually get a rebate for an iPod Touch (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/campaig… Also, applications are less expensive on a Mac... For example, iWork is about 70$, while Microsoft Office is about 250$... These add up quickly and bottom line, a Mac is not that expensive when you do the math.
The resell value of a Mac after a few years is still good, while for a PC, you'd barely get a chocolate bar for it...
Also, Mac come with iPhoto '09 which is just great! For multimedia project, a Mac is a must!
Good luck!
