oh I won't buy clothes deliberately for Christmas because Christmas is not my native holiday though we young people celebrate it. In China, Christmas only means a time to have fun, to dine with buddies and to drink, to dance in a disco; for lovers, it's a time for buying gifts, normally men's tasks; for businessmen, a big time to earn money in short time.

For me, would give them a gift card, so they can go and shop of the clothes or stuff that they like and the fashion they are into. But for my little sibs, i'm going to buy them clothes, they are not really choosy, they are contented on what they get from santa .

gift card - christmas gift card
Hi Swadey I do buy clothes for my grandkids and husband. When it comes to someone else I usely just get the gift card for them. My son has a new girlfriend and I really don't pay that much attention to what she wears. So therfore I don't know what she would like or what size to get. She will be getting that gift card from me. Beside that it is safer on me to buy the gift card...Have a great day..

I wouldn't buy anyone clothes in my family unless I knew what they wanted and what size because I don't have any sibilings so I don't know what poeple like. I would just rather give them a gift card and let them choose what they want to get. I don't want to put some one in an awkward situation where they don't want to say they don't like something when they don't. Well - Happy MyLotting.

Like you said It would depend on who it was for. I think that if you are older and buying clothes for a teenager, it would probably be best just to get them a gift card because its hard to determine what style is popular for them at the time. But I would buy clothes for my kids and husband because I know what they like and what they already have. It is always hard when you buy clothes for friends because it can be insulting if you buy them the wrong size... And that is never fun to deal with.
