new kitten

i found a kitten while i was walking in the woods close to the house and i just had to bring her home, she couldnt hardly see, lots of eye infection and very skinny, so sad, i doctored her up, the next day i brought her to the vet, he said she was about 4 weeks old and serious eye infection, with meds and a lot of tlc she is turning out to be a very playful kitty and healthy, but there is one problem, her claws, she is clawing everything, my curtons, sofa, my legs, feet, arms, head, LOL, o my, i cliped her nails but didnt help much, and i would hate to have her nails removed, any sugestions??????????/
