have you ever cooked something , which was very easy for you and not even that time consuming or too much rich, but is or was praised the most ? how was your feeling at that moment and who all were the people who were invited ?

This usually happens with my mexican pinwheels. They are so simple to make and everyone thinks they are complicated.
spread cream cheese over plain tortilla shells then spread a thing layer of salsa. Roll up as tight as you can. wrap in plastic wrap. chill in refrigerator. When ready. take out and slice into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices. Serve. YUM!
Sometimes I switch it up alittle by using mango peach salsa or fresh home made salsa. it's great anytime.

Yes, it has happened to me. And I remember a certain occation many years ago. I inveited two friends for lunch to study afterwards. I always have pesto at home as it´s a favorite and it´s so easy to make a meal with it.
So, as I didn´t have time, I cooked some spaguetti and dumped pesto over them. The parmesan cheese was on the table.
None of my friends had ever had this and we ate quantities. Needless to say, we had to have a little nap afterwards. It´s been more than 30 years but they still remember it
.
I remember I had to read The portrait of a young artist. I threw myself on the grass, put the book over my face and fell asleep. Poor James Joyce! He didn´t have a chance
.
I now think those memories are more important than whatever you learned at the university.
Happy posting!

hello aweins
How are you today? Great I hope..
Yes I have been in this position. I had fixed a dish called Manicotti. I decided to fix enough for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We live in a camper right now and it is in her yard. Any ways...I fixed the dish and took it over there to them. After they had ate they just kept commenting on how good it was. I felt very important, special and now I know they know that I can cook..It was a great feeling. My hubby was just as pleased with their response as well..Good discussion and have a great day..
