Champorado is best eaten with "tuyo" and a little coconut milk (instead of evaporated or condensed milk). Its like eating dinuguan with puto. yum!yum!

Hello fulltank, good day to you. I have'nt tasted yet the one that you are telling which is the tuyo and champorado. I think it's not a good combination? The right combination must be tuyo and sininangag...

Oh I never thought that champorado is intended for rainy season or on cold weathers. My mother used to make champorados before to make use of the uneaten rice no matter it's raining or not. In fact she even served us champorado at lunch when the sun is up and burning. Lol.

Hi shadow41, yes it is intended for rainy season because it's more good when you eat it, while raining. The cold winds which blow my skin when raining gives a good feeling which increase my appetite of eating. That's why it's really good to eat when cold. I think you must go try it, for you to feel the good effect of it.

I'm sure when you try it you will find the good feeling of it. By the way, I'm also sure that the number of your favorite foods for a specific weather condition will increase. It can be compared to the feeling, when drinking coffee during cold weather.

I love champorado... but the sort of original one where we used coconut milk instead of powdered milk... but it has been years since i ate that one... because i don't live with my parents anymore and my grandmother is already gone... maybe one day i will be able to perfect the original champorado...

Hello asertedd, i already taste the coconut milk in my champorado and all i can say it's really delicious than the powder milk. My father told me to used that kind of milk, when we are in our province my father always cook it every morning epecially when the weather is rainning. Hmmp! It's really good to eat champorado when the temperature of the weather was really cold.

Bartz78, good day to you! Well, Champorado is one of my favorite foods when raining because it gives me warmth in my stomatch, especially when I'm cold like raining season. My mother always cook this food and she always mix the cocoa and chocolate bars to increase it's good taste. Then she never forget to buy good quality milk because this is one of the reason why the taste became good. Hmmp? I really want champorado and especially when watching television. I always remember my father also like champorado. Well, that's all the end of my response here in your discussion. By the way, have you tried eating ''Tokwa't Baboy? And Goto''. This food combination was really good when raining and in the morning.

I love eating champorado too during rainy days. I like arroz caldo also during rainy days but my mother always cook champorado than arroz caldo during rainy days. Other prefer to eat it together with tuyo or dilis. I prefer my champorado a little bit bitter than too sweet but my family don't like it too better they prefer it to be sweet.

HI, I eat champorado anytime of the day, rainy day or not LOL. But I eat champorado mostly during breakfast when there is a whole lot of day old rice and for it not to go to waste I make it into a champorado with lots of pure cacao tablet. And surely champorado is very good for warming our stomachs during rainy cool days.

Hmmmm.. I can already taste the champorado in my mouth. I haven't eaten one in years... I still remember whenever my mom would cook champorado, and when I put the milk in my bowl, I would always design something, like a heart or a flower.. hehehe.. Hmm. I wonder where I can get a bowl of champorado.. the real ones, I don't like the ready to eat champorado available in the market... hmmmm.
