Do you like Facebook? Why and Why not

Sounds that your hubby is really addicted to Facebook, just like me, lol. But I log on only every morning for around 20 minutes of so each time. I think the appeal of Facebook is due to its uniqueness and the fact that since its existence, everybody is getting around with it. I will always love this site, but mostly for gaming purposes and networking with other gamers and some personal friends too.

I have a Facebook account. I do find it very addicting. It seems like sometimes I want to log in and check everyone's status and make sure I reply or at least say hi. I have been in contact with people that I haven't talked to in over 20 years. It is kind of nice to be back in contact with these old friends. But then, after a while, it seems like you don't talk to them anymore. You just talk to them when they are first added to your page as a friend. And then they go about their merry way. I guess, it just goes to show why you haven't talked to them for so long in the first place. I think it is pretty convenient though. If I just want to give someone a message, then they don't even have to check their email. I can just post it right on their page. Like when my sister fixed tea and treats for me the other day. I just went right to her wall and said "Thank You". That was pretty convenient.

OMG! I am sooooo addicted to Restaurant City on Facebook. I only check the status of my friends ever so often and post my own status even less. My kids got me hooked. Now I wish I had more friends so I can invite them to join the game with me. Facebook ROCKS!!!!

vingyan.. I have my FB on as long as I am online.. but not for the games la.. I try my very best to refrain myself from going into one.. recently there is another one name cafe world, and I have quite a number of invites, however I didn't dare to go in.. just I don't want myself to get addicted.. I will log in to update my status and my picture loaded. of course that will also be another source of where I could keep my baby's photo.

Hi vingyan06,Yes! i do like Facebook but i never play the games because i don't like it. At facebook i meet my friends who never news from them. I found my friend at high scholl, elementary scholl. I enjoyed so much in facebook.Happy mylotting!

i really like facebook a lot because it is complete. you can chat, check the profile of your friends, you can express yourself and there are many games you can play with. i always open my facebook account everyday. i feel relax when im on it. i keep updated regarding my friends and i can also comment on them or publish important announcement. i really like facebook and thanks to the one who made it, its fabulous.

Not surprising when people get hooked in facebook. I am also an addict in farmtown. I am a virtual farmer and spend my time either here or in facebook at my farm.

I am not really that into Facebook. I do play some games occasionally, like Fashion Wars and Glamour Age. Like you I rarely update my status. Mostly I use it because it is one of the most convenient way to stay in touch with my friends as I live abroad. I chat with them, see what they are up to and share photos and videos with them. Basically, trying to stay in touch with them.

I made a facebook account cause my sister has been bugging me for a while to be her neighbor in farmtown, she had me plow and harvest on her farm. We got to chat as well and find what each one is up to in their lives. And it seems fortunate cause a lot of my old friends too found me and had me play other games as well. So for now, I am hooked on facebook games.

I am into Facebook. Before I just have a Friendster account but when I discovered facebook and created an account, I seldom log in into my friendster account. I log in everyday in facebook to play games especiallly Resturant City. Before I just play Mafia, Street Racing, then Vampire Wars then Yoville then Sorority then Farmville and Farmtown but after I played Resturant City, I always open my account then set it up and leave the computer (with the Resturant city playing) and eat dinner since I came from the office. Now a days I also take time to play Cafe World (some friends wants neighbors). I like facebook because you can see your friends status and updates just by logging into your account. You can even chat with them which is really cool. I had chatted already with long lost friends and old classmates which is refreshing. I also like the feature of picture tagging because you get to see you photos uploaded by other without the effort of grabbing them. There is also the Facebook accounts of celebrities in which you can become a fan and be updated with their latest news. I am current a fan of Roger Federer

Dear vingyan, Your hubby enjoyed games at Facebook. That's cool! I only joined facebook just to see friends especially my Secondary school classmates updates! Their 'walls to walls' messages. I hardly update my Facebook as I spend most of my time at Blogging and myLotting But I find many Bloggers has shifted from blogging to Facebook especially my nephews and nieces. Hi Vingyan, I do have a facebook account and lately I am addicted to facebook too. I am not addicted to facebook games actually, I am more on browsing through my friends pictures and also their status. AT least I know what is going on with my friends since we are not in the same town. I got to know about facebook website from one of my forum 's friend,that was about 2 years ago. When I first joined facebook, I am not active and seldom login too. Only once awhile, I will upload some picture of my son and myself,at least to keep it updated. I can say that I like facebook account. It is the place whereby I can find back all my old mates which have been lost in contact for more than 10 years. I managed to find some old primary and high school classmates. So happy that I can keep in touch with them again and have chance to chat with each other. I will always support Facebook !!!

I have a Facebook account. From where I stand, I prefer to have a account there. You know, all my friends and classmates are there and I can keep touch with them just via Facebook. I just need to leave a message there when I need some help. Yes, sometimes, it is really a waste of time for some people may be addicted to the webgames of Facebook. hahaha i'm also kinda addicted to facebook. before i using start mylot i was used to log in facebook almost 10 hours in every day. now i'm kinda addicted on mylot community too. i thought facebook one of great social networking web site. i can be connect with many friends and family member. not only that i got few good friend through facebook. but now i like to use mylot. there is two opportunity. i can build my friend worldwide also can get little earning. lol.

I have a Facebook account, but I hardly use it. The only reason why I have it is to talk to a few friends that I have not seen since high school....thirteen years ago. We have mostly all moved to other states, and it is too hard to keep in contact with each other. We never have time to pick up the phone (we all have different schedules), so it is easier to just drop a line on Facebook. Other than that, I don't have any friends that I don't already know. I don't really see the point in it.

I have a facebook account and I normally log in once or twice a day. It can get addictive especially some of the games and the quizzes. I use to play those games, but these days I have reduced playing them. These days I only use it to chat with friends and see what they are upto. I dont really upload pictures and only change my status after a long time. Its a good site to spend some free time on.

My husband is into farm town as well as mafia wars,he is always on facebook doing them.I go on face book on my phone only if i have to leave a message for someone or just to find out where we are all drinking if we are going out.I also chat to a few friends of a weekend.

vingyan, I have a FB account. I was once addicted to the games in there. It is definitely unhealthy. It made me uneasy if I needed to go away for the weekend or if I cant go online for a day for the fear of losing my ranking or points or whatever that I've work so much for. Finally, I have the right sense of mind to terminate all my games and now, life is so much more relax!

I did find it very addicting to the point that i can't finish all my pending computer works because all i do is check on every game that i have on facebook. I was so sick of the situation but i still could not find a reason or a way to stop it until last month. when i learned about mylot, i realized there are a lot of other opportunities around the internet where you can enjoy, learn, check on your friends and family which also rewards you for doing so.. I am glad I stopped being addicted to facebook and i am now a mylot addict. i dont mind though because i know i am not wasting my time in here :D
